Alexander Harding (he/him) is a freelance writer and curator based in London. He holds a BA in Fine Art: Painting from Wimbledon College of Art and an MFA in Curating from Goldsmiths, University of London. His recent curatorial projects include Well Worn at SET Ealing (2023) and Paint(Consum)ing at The Function Suite (2022).
As a writer, Alexander has contributed features, exhibition reviews, and interviews to publications such as Art Monthly, ArtReview, and Frieze. He has also authored commissioned texts for a range of artists and institutions, both in the UK and internationally, including Plataforma2 (Barcelona), Des Bains (London), and Roland Ross (Margate).
His research and writing often explore how contemporary artists respond to the saturation of images and data in daily life, particularly through the mediums of painting and photography. He is especially interested in artists who navigate the space between these practices. Through his involvement in the British art network, Alexander aims to highlight voices working innovatively across these visual languages.
