Amy Emmerson Martin

Amy Emmerson Martin (she/her) is an Assistant Curator of Contemporary British Art at Tate, focusing on the museum’s collection displays, exhibitions and acquisitions. Most recently she co-curated Turner Prize 2024. Through Art Now programming, Amy has curated the exhibitions of Hannah Quinlan & Rosie Hastings, Zeinab Saleh, and Steph Huang.
Prior to this she has worked on the exhibitions Sarah Lucas: HAPPY GAS, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, Fly In League With The Night, and Life Between Islands: Caribbean-British Art 1950s- Now. Amy also works each year on the collection acquisitions for Frieze Tate Fund.

Her curatorial interests are rooted in her exploration of identity with an ongoing commitment to advancing discourse in contemporary British art. She is a Trustee of NN Contemporary Art, Northampton. Amy holds a BA and an MA in History of Art, both from The Courtauld Institute of Art, London.
