Andy Tat-keung Tam

Dr Andy Tat-keung Tam is a Shenzhen-Zhuhai-Hong Kong contemporary art researcher and artist. He completed his PhD at Kingston University London, his MA at Wimbledon College of Art, UAL, and MEd at Hong Kong Metropolitan University. He has participated in various projects, such as Art Central Hong Kong (2022), International Festival of Intermedia (2020), Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong (2018), Silk Road International Art Festival (2017), the Third Kunming Art Biennale (2016), Shenzhen Biennale of Contemporary Art (2015), Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/ Architecture (Shenzhen and Hong Kong, 2012 & 2015), Kwangju Art Biennial (2005), Guangzhou Art Triennial (2005), MAAP Media Art Festival (2004), Ho Chi Minh Fine Arts Museum (2000), Taiwan IT Park Gallery (2000), Taiwan Huashan Arts District (2000), Hong Kong Biennale of Art (1996 & 1998) and more. He also performs at Malaysia National Visual Arts Gallery (2000), and his writings have been released in MIT-LEA Press, the second APAEC (Asia-Pacific Art Education Conference), the second Guangzhou Triennial, Korean National Commission for UNESCO and more. Currently, he is assistant professor in Media Arts and Design programme (MAD) at Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College.
