Anna Nesterenko is an independent art curator and multidisciplinary artist, based in London. She graduated from International Bachelor Arts and Culture Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam and MA Curating and Collections at Chelsea College of Arts, UAL.
She has experience of working with several cultural institutions in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Italy, such as AntikBar Gallery, The Koppel Project, Zabludowicz Collection, WORM Rotterdam, and others. Recently, she organised Our Home: Ukraine, a series of charity art exhibitions showing the works of contemporary Ukrainian artists.
Her curatorial interests lie in the areas of contemporary conceptualism and activist art with a focus on performances, installations, and films.
In her artistic practice, she combines both figurative and abstract approaches and views art as a powerful vehicle for self-exploration and introspection. Her works have been exhibited in The Forge Gallery, New Artist Fair, 54 The Gallery and other spaces.
Currently, she is studying Fine Art at Art Academy, London.
