Bengü Gün has a background in organisational strategy in creative industries and has gained over fifteen years of experience in managerial and curatorial positions across various arts institutions in Türkiye while advising on internationally acclaimed projects. She is currently working as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at esea contemporary. Prior to her current role, Gün co-founded and directed Mixer Art Gallery in Istanbul, where she oversaw its curatorial strategy and public programmes. She also served as Membership Manager at the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art and the Director of the Gate 27 artist residency programme.
Holding a B.A. in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University and an M.A. in Cultural Heritage Management from Koç University, Gün lectures on gallery management, mentors artists, acts as a jury member for renowned arts programmes, and occasionally works as an independent curator.
