Charlotte Bird

Charlotte Bird is a PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh, located in Design Informatics and the Centre for Technomoral Futures. She also holds a MSc in Computer Science and a BA in Literature. Her research sits at the intersection between AI ethics and design, namely focusing on questions of creativity and technological interaction. Her most recent publication investigates the risks associated with generative text-to-image models, and her current work is focused on the idea of responsible art making with AI.
