David Bindman

David Bindman is Emeritus Professor of the history of Art, University College London. He has written extensively on 18th/19th century British art, and was the editor of the3-volume History of British Art for Tate and the Yale Center for British Art. In recent years he has worked on race and art in Britain and beyond, but is co-curator with Esther Chadwick of an exhibition of Blake and Europe to open at the Fitzwilliam Cambridge and the Hamburg Kunsthalle in 2024.
