Eleanor Watson

Eleanor Watson is a curator and academic based in London. From 2016-2022 she worked a curator at the Design Museum and in 2024 was awarded the AHRC funded Collaborative Doctoral Award between the Design Museum and Kingston School of Art. Her doctoral research explores the challenges and opportunities of curating design collection displays in an era of rapid climate change.

Eleanor continues to work as an independent curator and has delivered large-scale exhibitions with a wide range of international institutions. This includes CAFA Museum, Beijing, Hong Kong Science Museum, Tekniska Museet, Stockholm, Art Dubai and Wolverhampton Art Gallery. Her work has been featured in The Guardian, The Observer, The Times, Frieze, Architectural Digest, Art Review, The Financial Times, ICON Magazine and Disegno.
