Estelle Marois is an independent curator based in London and Paris. She has organised exhibitions at P21 Gallery, a charitable trust promoting contemporary Arab art and culture, as well as at contemporary art galleries Baleno International (Rome) and Nicoletti (London). Her work extends to writing critical texts and press articles, editing artist books—including a publication with Tunisian photographers, programming live events with the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), Art Night, Les Bains Paris, and produced podcasts for Stillpoint Spaces.
A graduate with a Master’s degree in French from La Sorbonne, Paris, and additional degrees in Psychoanalysis and Science & Technology Studies from UCL, London, Estelle researches the intersections between art and science, with a particular focus on decolonial ecology. She is also interested in modern and contemporary understandings of art as a process of ‘presenting’ rather than ‘representing.’
Estelle has received several grants, including from Fluxus Art Projects and Arts Council England, and was the curatorial laureate of the 2024 International Research and Creation Residence programme at Le Wonder, Bobigny.
