Joshua Lockwood-Moran (he/they) is a curator and artist currently working as the Exhibitions Manager at Hub, Sleaford, a National Centre of Craft and Design. Previously, he was Deputy Curator at Bonington Gallery, where he curated exhibitions by Osheen Siva, Emily Andersen, and Andrew Logan, and was Co-Director of TG gallery (2014-2023).
Joshua’s research interests lie at the intersection of queer British art and decolonial approaches to art histories. He is particularly focused on uncovering the work of marginalized or underrepresented artists, whose contributions are often sidelined in mainstream narratives. His research explores how queer British artists have shaped cultural discourse and investigates how decolonial perspectives challenge traditional art historical frameworks.
With a strong skill set in exhibition curation and design, Joshua has extensive experience in project and event management. His work often focuses on contemporary art, with a particular emphasis on global queer cultures. He excels in artist liaison, providing clear communication and support throughout the exhibition-making process.
