Joshua Omeke

Joshua Omeke is a BIPOC artist who was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and is now based in England. Joshua’s work in arts and culture aims to project valuable art on a global scale. His background also covers performance art, storytelling, creative writing, film, music, editing, and visual arts.

This multifaced arts background helped Joshua as he took on a role in the establishment of Alkebulan Art, fully manifesting his desire to create art while at the same time practicing and developing a portfolio that incorporates prose, cinematography, photos, and music. Alkebulan Art is not only oriented towards the exhibition of art, but towards its sale as well and the execution of art services that introduces the audience to a wider market.

His determination to help fellow poets and share their creative knowledge through creative research practices has developed from his love of mentoring artists and enhancing art in communities. Not to forget, he has numerous award nominations and has recently published Joe’s Collectanea and The Hymns of a Deepman. Joshua’s endeavour promises to enhance the art community in the United Kingdom.
