Julie Brown

Julie Brown is Collections Curator at The New Art Gallery Walsall, and is responsible for developing, displaying, interpreting and promoting access to the local authority public art collections, art library and archives, as well as curating their related exhibitions and events programme. Key areas of interest for Julie are the use of collections for wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion, and working in co-productions with different audience groups and stakeholders. Julie’s research interests include art made by women and linking to motherhood and mental health. Julie is an alumna of the Clore Leadership Programme and Associate of the Museums Association.
