Liam Green

Liam Green (b. 1990, Cambridge) holds an MA in Fine Art Media from Slade School of Fine Art as the Derek Jarman Scholar and a First Class BA in Fine Art from Camberwell College of Art. He has previously held roles at the Architectural Association, The Photographers’ Gallery, and Turner Contemporary. He is currently Local Engagement Manager at Central Saint Martins (CSM), University of the Arts, London, working to bring the creativity and innovation happening across CSM into local communities.  Turning the studio ethos ‘inside-out’ working with a variety of academic, corporate, non-profit, citizen-led and government organisations to actively engage with societal issues and co-design more optimistic futures for all.

As his creative career developed, he became increasingly drawn to curatorial practice and the interpretation and dissemination of ideas through programme, with a focus on work experienced with communities and in public space. Making creative practices accessible and relevant through engaging public programming. He values working in community engagement as it consolidates his belief in the overlap and cross pollination of practices and ideas which engenders thoughtful discourse and bold contemporary thinking.
