Mengyi Wang is a cross-cultural contemporary artist specializing in acrylic on canvas. She earned dual BAs in Art and Film & Media Studies from the University of California, Irvine, and dual master’s degrees in Global Communication from the London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Southern California. Her paintings reflect her cross-cultural heritage and personal memories through narrative storytelling through a fusion of modern impressionism and traditional Chinese art. She is dedicated to exploring the diverse perspectives and innovative approaches of British art to enrich her painting series. Her works have been exhibited internationally, including in the US, Canada, and the UK, and she has participated in art exhibitions across the globe, such as the 2024 International Exhibition of Calligraphy & Painting, Centered on the Center at Huntington Beach Art Center, and the International Digital Online 3D Exhibition: Inktober from the Artwork Gallery. Her stories and paintings have featured in globally-distributed media, including the UK-originated Artist Talk Magazine, the Netherlands-printed Visual Art Journal, and Spain-based Al-Tiba9 Contemporary Art Magazine. She has been awarded the Industry Pioneer Award by the National Artists Association (Canada) and continues to deliver her narrative art to the global audiences.
