Michael James Chappell

Michael James Chappell works as an independent scholar and also assists with sourcing artworks and managing collections for institutions and private collectors. His interests vary from the British built environment of the eighteenth century to Italian workshop practice of the early fifteenth century.

Academically, his degrees in art history were gained from University College London and enhanced with advanced study in curatorship at the Warburg Institute, University of London. He is furthering this study with an MPhil in art history, also at the Warburg Institute.

He maintains a retail presence online with his life partner Keith McCullar, and they are accredited by CINOA.
