Orlando Echeverri Benedetti is a Colombian-Spanish writer, translator, and cultural researcher with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Journalism. He is the author of the novel Criacuervo (Angosta Editores) and the short story collection La fiesta en el cañaveral (Penguin Random House), works that explore themes of identity, memory, and social conflict.
In addition to his literary career, Echeverri Benedetti has contributed to the preservation and study of visual heritage. He has served as a cataloguer and curator at the Photographic Archive of the Société Jersiaise, where his work focuses on archival research, curation, and the writing of critical essays on the historical and cultural significance of the collections.
