Pablo Angel Lugo

Dr. Pablo Angel Lugo is a renowned artist and academic born in Mexico City, whose work has been exhibited globally. Specializing in public art, his diverse portfolio includes paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, videos, performances, and film collaborations. Dr. Lugo has showcased his work in Mexico, the US, the UK, Spain, France, and Indonesia, among other countries. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in visual arts, a master’s in public art, and a Cum Laude PhD in Art: Research and Production, supported by a JUMEX Foundation scholarship. He also teaches in the UK and abroad. 

Dr. Lugo excels as a researcher, artist, and expert in art markets. His research explores the intersection of art, economics, law, and politics. As an artist, his provocative public art pieces challenge societal norms. As Director of Projects at Glocal Art Markets Consultants Ltd in London, he has forged strategic international partnerships and excelled in art valuation and market trends.

Additionally, Dr. Lugo is a judicial expert in art and public art for the Federal Judicial Council in Mexico. He is also part of the General National Archive and the National Network of Patrimonial Guardians. Internationally recognized, Dr. Lugo’s interdisciplinary work bridges art with economics, law, and politics, inspiring dialogue and pushing boundaries.
