Paul Luckraft is a curator with 20 years’ experience across a range of organisations. He is currently Senior Artist Liaison at Gazelli Art House, London. Prior to this, Paul was Senior Curator at Zabludowicz Collection, London, where he played a pivotal role in crafting a distinctive programme of exhibitions with a particular focus on the production and reception of art in relation to new technology.
Noteworthy achievements include solo exhibitions by international artists such as LuYang (2022), Shana Moulton (2019) and Rachel Maclean (2018), and several ambitious thematic group exhibitions. The commissioning of new work was central across these projects. Paul also led on the development of the Invites programme, dedicated to supporting emerging UK-based artists, and has curated over 35 solo exhibitions as part of this initiative. He has edited numerous publications, most recently LuYang NetiNeti (Distanz, 2023), and regularly contributes his own writing, including to Libby Heaney: Quantum Soup (Hatje Cantz/ HEK, 2024).
Previous roles include Curator at Modern Art Oxford. Paul began his career in Liverpool where he graduated from Liverpool School of Art, before working in the exhibition team at FACT and in 2006 co-founding The Royal Standard studios and project space. Paul holds an MA in Art History from The Open University and is an alumnus of the Independent Curators International (ICI) Curatorial Intensive programme, New York.
