Rachy McEwan and Raya Gray both studied BA (Hons) Fine Art: Painting and Printmaking at The Glasgow School of Art and are now based in North East London. Rachy is studying MA Material Futures at UAL: Central Saint Martins and Raya is based at Absorb Arts studios. Whilst working for The Glasgow School of Art’s Sustainability in Action Group (SiAG) and as Studio Technicians and Tutors at Print Club London, they continue to develop their fine art practices and build on their curatorial practice founded in Glasgow, Scotland.
Their curatorial practice primarily involves working with artists that actively engage with and investigate climate and ecological perspectives and issues. With the aim of bringing people and communities together to form a network of individuals: fostering and enabling positive action to challenge climate change in London’s creative community and beyond.
