Saffiere Dunstan-Saffrey

Saffiere Dunstan-Saffrey is a spirited and versatile artist from Wales who now calls Kent home. She is a member of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) and was educated in Wales and France. With a deep passion for creativity and known for her quirky nature and unfiltered authenticity, Saffiere brings a refreshing blend of positivity and creativity to everything she does.

Finding joy in the limitless possibilities of artistic expression, she paints in all mediums, embracing the freedom of artistic expression without the constraints of structured approaches. As the founder of the Maidstone Art Centre, a charitable community arts setting, she has made a significant impact on the local community, fostering creativity and providing a place for artistic growth. At Maidstone Art Centre, she has created a haven for creative exploration and community engagement.

In her role as director of The Bedgebury Arts Studio, she continues to champion the transformative power of art, and mentor and support emerging artists. She truly believes in art’s ability to soothe the mind and support mental well-being. A strong advocate for freedom in creativity, Saffiere believes that art should be a personal and liberating journey, free from enforced rules and conventions, and believes that art should be affordable and available to all.
