She was co-curator for the retrospective exhibitions Doris Hatt: A Life in Colour and Tristram Hillier: Landscapes of the Mind, at The Museum of Somerset, Taunton. She has been lead curator on a number of contemporary art exhibitions at Somerset Rural Life Museum, Glastonbury, including Alice Kettle: Thread Bearing Witness and Jacky Oliver: Horse Power, both of which were co-organised with the artist development organisation Somerset Art Works.
She was previously Gallery and Exhibitions Assistant for contemporary art dealer and publisher TAG Fine Arts. She studied History of Art at the University of York and the Courtauld Institute of Art.
Sarah is keen to promote the inclusion of female artists in museum displays and permanent collections, and she is particularly interested in the dialogue between art creation in the city and rural spaces.
