Saskia Singer

Saskia Singer founded Narture CIC with her father Robert Singer in June 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially repurposing vacant town centre spaces for cultural endeavours, the artist father and daughter duo’s project has blossomed into a thriving social enterprise. Embracing the philosophy that ‘everyone is an artist’, Narture encourages individuals to channel their creative energies for positive change, aspiring to create an inclusive creative hub accessible to all.

At the heart of Narture’s revenue stream are its acclaimed Sourdough Bakery and Artisan Café, renowned for their sustainable, locally sourced offerings. Recognized as Bread Bakery of the Year for the second consecutive year, they champion healthy ingredients and support local businesses while also contributing to food banks as part of their social mission.

Narture’s surplus profits are reinvested into creative initiatives, driving town centre revitalisation. Narture Studios and Make situated at 34 & 30 Newmarket Street, serves as a haven for local artists, featuring communal spaces including a darkroom and Riso printer. The venue also hosts a shop selling local wares, along with exhibitions, events, workshops, and talks centred around Narture’s core pillars of Food, Creativity, and Wellbeing.
