Simon James Turner

Simon Turner lives in Berlin and is an editor and compiler for the Hollstein series of Dutch, Flemish and German prints before 1700. He has previously worked at the Department of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum and studied the History of Art at University College London (UCL). He has compiled a catalogue of prints by Wenceslaus Hollar and edited volumes on Johannes Teyler and Dutch colour prints and on Jacob Christoff Le Blon and trichromatic printing. He has published extensively in Print Quarterly and elsewhere on a variety of topics. Forthcoming publications include an essay on the colour prints of Elisha Kirkall and the De Brys and the Album amicorum.
