Tobi Alexandra Falade is a curator, writer, and visual artist.
She currently holds the curatorial traineeship at the Barbican Art Gallery and Iniva Stuart Hall Library where she is learning the process of developing and presenting temporary exhibitions and commissions, and the event programmes that accompany them.
Through curation she present narratives which explore the vastness of global identities, and create encounters for audiences to enjoy, question, and be inspired by. This can be seen in her work as co-founder of Platform Black where she uses events, exhibitions and talks to highlight the work of black creatives.
She lives in London and graduated from Fine Art: Painting at Wimbledon College of Art, University of the Arts London in 2019.
