Vikas Garg is an artist, independent curator and the founder of Artlune, a forward-thinking artist collective supporting emerging contemporary South Asian artists. Born and raised in Delhi, India, he has gone on to curate projects across India and England. With a BA in Fine Arts from Amity University and an MA in Curation from the University of Essex, his professional background includes organising and managing exhibitions, workshops, and community events.
His curatorial practice emphasises community engagement and cultural exchange. Since 2019, he has curated numerous art-based projects focused on socially relevant themes. In 2023, in partnership with the Alliance Française de Delhi and Mexican Embassy to India, he organised an eight-month long project titled ‘Against the Grain’ in Delhi with international artists and stakeholders. He continues to explore diverse artistic expressions and cultural narratives celebrating South Asian art and artists.
