Conference: Tuesday 29–Thursday 31 July 2025
Deadline to apply: Monday 14 October 2024, 17:00 BST
The call for papers for the 2025 Discovering Collections, Discovering Communities conference is now open. Proposals for online and in person contributions will be welcomed, noting the deadline of Monday 14 October 2024, 17:00 BST.
Access the full call for papers and information on how to apply via the following link: Call for papers – DCDC25 (dcdcconference.co.uk).
A collective call to action DCDC25 invites you to come together, no matter where you are in the world or the stage of your career, to choose your own future: to celebrate what is already being achieved and debate what more could be done, to explore the challenges we face across the GLAMA sector (galleries, libraries, archives, museums, and academia) and to work together as a community to find sustainable solutions.
The conference partners – The British Library, Jisc, and The National Archives – have taken time to review and consider delegate feedback, and from 2025 an improved DCDC will take place as a fully hybrid international event. To ensure delegates experience the best that DCDC has to offer, the conference will run on a biennial basis from 2025 onwards.
You can find out more about DCDC – their history and their plans for the future – via their website: DCDC25 – DCDC25 (dcdcconference.co.uk).
The website will be updated with more information over the coming months, and DCDC-related news will be shared on X and LinkedIn (#DCDC25) and in email communications.
