Powerhouse Arts: Thursday 23 January 2025, 17:00–18:00 GMT
This programme of talks run by Edinburgh Printmakers aims to build relationships between similar printmaking studios around the world. Invited representatives of each studio, as well as artist members, students or collaborators will give a talk and introduce their organisation, work, projects and facilities to an international audience of creative printmakers.
The third talk will be given by Powerhouse Arts in New York City. Part of Powerhouse Arts, Manhattan Graphics Center supports the learning and practice of fine art printmaking by providing an affordable, inclusive, professional studio and exhibition space, where a community of printmakers at all stages of artistic development can create and present their work.
Upcoming talks will feature Il Bisonte Foundation in Florence, Italy (Thursday 27 February) and Spike Print Studio in Bristol (Thursday 13 March).
