Open School East is currently seeking an Associate Programme Producer to join its programme team. The postholder will work closely with the Artistic Director on the development and delivery of Open School East’s Associate Programme and support on all arrangements regarding curriculum coordination, public programme events, open studios and final exhibitions.
Our ideal candidate will have a knowledge of, and passion for, contemporary visual arts, with experience of working within arts education, specifically, working with artists and/or students. Open School East is committed to making the arts more accessible to all community members and we support a diverse range of artists from various backgrounds to follow a creative journey into the arts.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to be part of an open, proactive and agile team, curating and delivering outstanding arts education and contemporary art in one of the country’s leading alternative art schools.
This role will be offered initially on a fixed term 12 month contract with a view to this becoming a permanent role. Some evening and weekend work is required for which we offer time off in lieu.
