Artist-Curator Traineeship 2025–26
Part time (30 hours), fixed-term (18 month) role
Salary: Real Living Wage – currently £12.00 per hour (£18,720 per annum), rising to £12.60 per hour from 1 April 2025 (£19,656 per annum)
Application deadline: Monday 20 January 2025
Eastside Projects in Birmingham are looking for someone to join their team and learn how to be an artist-curator through hands-on experience.
Eastside Projects is run by a very small team, so day-to-day you will be working directly with Artist Curator Trainee Harmandeep Randhawa, Artist Maker Ruth Claxton and Artist Curator Gavin Wade. You’ll also work with artists, freelance technicians, EOP members, the advisory board, exhibition and event visitors, and communities beyond the gallery.
During the traineeship you will have the opportunity to develop your own artist-curated project as part of Eastside Project’s programme. You will be supported by Gavin, Ruth and the rest of the team, and given a budget and time to realise your idea.
Find out more information about the traineeship and how to apply on the Eastside Projects website.
Thursday 9 January 2025, 13:00 – 14:00
