Curator, Exhibitions and Displays (Maternity Cover)
Tate Liverpool
Full time, fixed-term role (10 months)
Salary: £35,394 per annum
Application deadline: Sunday 13 April 2025, midnight BST
Tate is seeking a Curator, Exhibitions and Displays (Maternity Cover) for a temporary period of 10 months, based at Tate Liverpool, to work on our exciting exhibitions and displays programme.
Working within the Exhibitions team at Tate Liverpool, you will have an excellent knowledge of twentieth century modern and contemporary art, both British and international, with experience of leading on collection displays and solo/group exhibitions within a museum or art gallery and strong project management skills.
This is an exciting time to join Tate Liverpool as we prepare for reopening our gallery on the Royal Albert Dock in 2027. The role combines curatorial and collections-based research with project management. You will lead on projects, working with many teams across Tate, according to our artistic and audience priorities, as such you will be an active team player with a collaborative approach and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will also have a proactive approach to promoting the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion and be able to show evidence of having incorporated these strategies into your working practices.
As you will work across multiple projects, at different stages, you will be highly organised with strong administrative skills and the ability to prioritise and coordinate activities with patience and empathy when under pressure.
