Part time (18 hours per week), fixed-term role (until April 2027)
Salary: £14,674 per annum (FTE of £29,348)

This temporary post will support the Curator, Exhibitions and Displays, in developing the next phase of the Palais de Danse project by contributing to the understanding of the Materials and Studio Collection and its position within Hepworth’s wider practice.

You will have knowledge of undertaking historical research using both primary and secondary sources, as well as an understanding of current copyright, data protection, ethical codes and legal requirements in research and collecting.

You will be responsible for collating historic research and relevant conservation documents relating to Barbara Hepworth’s Studio practice to help build an understanding of the Artist’s Materials and Studio Collection and its context within Hepworth’s wider career.

You will work on your own initiative and manage your own time effectively, as well as working to deadlines. Above all, you will demonstrate that you are a great team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role is part-time for two and a half days a week until April 2027. It is based in Cornwall and not open to remote working.
