The ERC-funded project CHROMOTOPE hosted by Sorbonne Université in collaboration with
the University of Oxford and the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) is
inviting applications for a 5-day summer school on the topic of ‘Translating Colour’. This
summer school co-organised by Stefano Evangelista (University of Oxford) and Charlotte
Ribeyrol (Sorbonne Université / PI of CHROMOTOPE) will take place in Florence from 19 to
23 September 2022.
Applications are welcomed from doctoral and postdoctoral researchers working on colour-related
topics in all disciplines (arts, humanities, sciences, social sciences), not restricted to the 19th
century. CHROMOTOPE will cover travel and accommodation expenses of all successful
applicants.
