Opportunity: Contributing Editor, British Art Studies

Closing date for applications: noon on Monday 7 March 2022.

British Art Studies (BAS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art and the Yale Center for British Art. BAS is normally published three times per year and is a platform for innovative research on all aspects of British art, architecture and visual culture.

Since its launch in 2015, the journal has grown in scope and ambition. We are looking for someone who is committed to expanding both the histories of British art and digital publishing as a freelance Contributing Editor. The Contributing Editor will be engaged on a freelance basis for two years from April 2022. A fixed fee of £10,000 p.a. is offered.
