Applications for the 2022/2023 Paul Mellon Centre Rome Fellowship award are open!
This award allows an individual the unique opportunity of spending three months at the British School at Rome (BSR) and undertaking research on the topic of British-Italian art history. Alongside receiving free accommodation, meals and Italian language lessons (if needed) during their stay, the individual will also receive an honorarium and staff replacement costs if required.
The British School at Rome hosts some thirty-five individuals at any one time, from academics and fine artists who have won awards to spend an extended period in Rome, to researchers making specific trips to use the rich library and archives of the BSR, as well as the combined resources of Italian and international organisations based in Rome.
The award is open to scholars, researchers, curators, archivists and GLAM professionals from immediately post-doctoral to those internationally recognised in their field of expertise.
Applications close on 29 April. Find out more.
