The second Early Career Curators group were active from June 2019 to September 2020 and included a number of members engaging in freelance curatorial work alongside those working institutionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the first time, alongside Continuing Professional Development workshops and a collaborative project, the Group members worked on individual research projects, supported by the British Art Network Acting Convenor, Martin Postle<\/a> from the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art. These individual research projects ranged from the first of a quarterly pamphlet series on artist film to a interviews with volunteer-run galleries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The group met at Tate Britain, the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art and The Hepworth Wakefield, before the programme was taken online in response to the Covid crisis. Workshops focused on exploring notions of \u2018British art\u2019, confidence and risk-taking, online curating and time management.
