The Magnani Rocca Foundation in Mamiano di Traversetolo (Parma) is dedicating a major retrospective, “The painter who unmasked nature”, to the artist Graham Sutherland (1903-1980), who was quite popular with many of the 20th century’s greatest art critics, from Francesco Arcangeli to Roberto Tassi and Giovanni Testori. Together with Francis Bacon, Sutherland is considered one of the leaders of British painting. Source.
