Jason Edwards is a Professor of Art History at the University of York. He specialises in British sculpture in its global contexts in the long nineteenth century and in the art of the British empire, especially in Asia. Jason’s broader intellectual interests include queer theory and vegan theory, as well as complex systems. Most recently, Jason has been the principal investigator of the major AHRC project, Pantheons: Sculpture at St Paul’s Cathedral, c.1796-1914.
