On Saturday 11th November, the third meeting of the Art Practices and British Central Eastern European Diaspora research group brings together works by feminist artists whose practices address labour, diasporic experience and ‘east’ to ‘west’ European migration. Moving image works and performance documentation are the texts for this special reading group session, grounding a discussion moderated by Lina Džuverović, Curator & Course Leader for the MA Curating and Collections at Chelsea College of Art, whose research focuses on feminist art histories and contemporary art as a site of solidarity and community-building, drawing on her connections to the former Yugoslavia.
Featuring screened performance and moving image artworks by Sanja Iveković, Tanja Ostojić, Darija Radaković and Selma Selman. Read more about the event on the Cell Project Space Website.
