Anna Rhodes is the Collections Officer at Buxton Museum and Art Gallery where she works with a varied collection from the eighteenth to twentieth century art. She is a specialist on the landscape art of Derbyshire, particularly eighteenth-century topographical views on paper and porcelain.
She is a recipient of an Art Fund New Collecting Award that has allowed her to purchase eighteenth-century works for the collection at Buxton Museum. Alongside this, her research interests include early tourism, particularly geo and health tourism to Derbyshire.
Anna joined Buxton Museum in 2010, previously having worked for Macclesfield Museums, the Museum of Science and Industry and the Wordsworth Trust. She currently also works one day a week for the Collections Trust.
