Atang LS Arnold

Atang L.S Arnold is the Founding Manager, Gallerist and Curator of “The Space Botswana” an Art Gallery / Creative Hub based in Maun, Botswana. She holds a Creative Multimedia Degree and runs her own Multimedia Production company, Lipstick and Dust (Pty) Ltd. She attained a certificate at Sothebys Institute of Art on Running a Contemporary Gallery (2022) and was featured in “Forbes 30 Under 30 Africa.” She is also the 2023 Delegate, Creative Industries, The Museums Lab Fellow 2023, Germany/Kenya, and Cultural Relations Programme 2023 Spain, Madrid.

She is a voluntary Public Relation Officer of Okavango Artists Association ( O.A.A) as a Cultural Practitioner , YALI Business and Entrepreneurship Development Alumni. Tulipamwe International Artists Workshop 2018 Artist. Her art works produced have been exhibited at the National Art Gallery of Namibia. She also holds a Creative Hub Entrepreneurship Academy accreditation for The Space Botswana by British Council South Africa 2020 and Social Entrepreneurship 2021 by British Council Botswana. Atang facilitated at the 2020 Ngamiland Creatives Network Project (NCNP) on “Creative Block and COVID-19 Challenges as an Artist, also 2021 Project Mobilization Manager for the NCNP.

Atang has worked with International Companies as an Art consultant and Assistant Film Director; Conservation International (CI) Rwanda& Botswana, SPANA- UK&Botswana , USAiD(Namibia), GIZ(Angola) and local safari companies producing short impact films. Atang exhibited her paintings at Maun International Arts Festival (M.I.A.F) hosted annually and O.A.A Members Exhibition from 2016 till date. She is a regional winner of the 2018 Presidents Day Competition in the Photography section. Atang has been involved with Photography Workshop as a Technical Assistant 2017 for the Botswana Society of the Arts and Botswana Deaf Association. She volunteers at a local rehabilitation centre teaching children on the importance of Art, Creativity and imagination.

Atang aims to constantly innovate , share knowledge and educate other individuals in the arts and community.
