Claire Marsland

As Curator of Ushaw College and a PhD student at Durham University, Claire Marsland specialises in Catholic material culture.  She is interested in opening access to Catholic collections and promoting best practice: as a council member of the Catholic Archives Society, she co-wrote a publication on the care of religious artefacts and has assisted on the project Material Culture Under Penalty which resulted in the online exhibition Fabric of Resistance.
