Elizabeth Ann Day

Elizabeth Ann Day (She/Her) is a Fife-born curator, artist and arts organiser based in Dundee, Scotland. Graduating with a BA in Fine Art from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in 2018, Day was selected to become a Graduate Resident at the university, focussing much of her time on the development of DJCAD Zine Library with Cooper Gallery’s Student Curatorial Team. With a growing interest in artist-led activity, Day joined the committee of local initiative GENERATORprojects curating exhibitions focussed on collaboration and cultural exchange.

These experiences have led to Day collaborating with other emerging arts practitioners, co-founding the alternate gallery hosted in a mechanical vending machine Volk Gallery whilst producing Windfall*, a new arts publication focused on providing critical and paid exposure for emerging contemporary artists.

Elizabeth is currently Civic Curator with Art Night and has previously held production, community engagement and visitor experience-based roles at Edinburgh Art Festival and V&A Dundee.
