Jessie Petheram

Jessie Petheram is Assistant Curator (Art) at West Cheshire Museums. Her current research interests include Georgian regional art networks, early 19th century etching, and landscape photography.

Jessie was previously Tomlinson Assistant Curator of Fine Art at National Museums Liverpool, where she was instrumental in the creation of the Walker Art Gallery’s first dedicated prints and drawings gallery. She was co-curator of Another View: Women Landscape Artists (Lady Lever Art Gallery, 2024) and has curated multiple displays of works on paper. She previously held curatorial roles at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and the Wordsworth Trust. She was a Trustee and Journal Editor for the Social History Curators Group from 2017 to 2021, a member of BAN’s Emerging Curators Group 2019-2020 and a research lead for the British Drawings research group.
