Jessie Petheram

Jessie Petheram is Tomlinson Assistant Curator of Fine Art at National Museums Liverpool, with a primary focus on digitising the Walker Art Gallery’s collection of works on paper.

Jessie’s interests include women landscape artists; the Romantics; collections documentation as a political activity, and improving online access to stored collections. At the Walker she has curated watercolour displays on Simeon Solomon, Charles Shannon and Charles Ricketts, and Classical subjects.

Jessie has previously worked for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and the Wordsworth Trust. She was a Trustee and Journal Editor for the Social History Curators Group from 2017 to 2021, a member of BAN’s Emerging Curators Group 2019-2020 and is active in the British Drawings research group.
