Kirsty Stonell Walker

Kirsty Stonell Walker is an art historian who concentrates on the lives of Victorian artists and models, with special emphasis on the Pre-Raphaelite movement.  She has researched and published extensively on the life of Fanny Cornforth, including the biography ‘Stunner: The Fall and Rise of Fanny Cornforth’ (Unicorn Publishing, 2022).  She is also the author of ‘Pre-Raphaelite Girl Gang’ (Unicorn Publishing, 2018) and a joint biography of Julia Margaret Cameron and her model Mary Hillier, ‘Light and Love’ (Unicorn Publishing, 2020). She writes The Kissed Mouth blog, is the art correspondent for Enchanted Living magazine and has published two historical novels. Kirsty is also the curator for the Victorian Narrative Art exhibition ‘Telling Tales’ (Southampton City Art Gallery/Russell-Cotes Art Gallery, 2023).
