Marie-Franz Fordjoe

Marie-Franz Fordjoe is a business executive with over a decade of experience working in innovation, media, marketing and arts. She is currently the Media and Art Lead, West Africa Lead for MoTIV Africa – a hub for creative entrepreneurs and cottage industries to explore and expand their ideas into viable business.

She is also the Director of BlackBox – a Kampala-based artist residency focused on nurturing emerging artists within East Africa and beyond.

She is the founder of Franz Consults, an entity that consults on, and runs various projects including the Africa Prosperity Dialogue (Office of the President, Ghana) and the Africa World Trade Network (a strategic AfCFTA partner.)

Up until 2023, she was the Head of Donor Relations and Communications at Noldor Artist Residency – Ghana’s first independent artist residency and fellowship program for contemporary African artists on the continent and in the diaspora, which has placed dozens of artists in notable galleries, museums and collections across Europe, Asia, America and Africa.
