Dr Rosalind McKever is Curator of Paintings and Drawings at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. She has curated exhibitions at the V&A (Fashioning Masculinities: The Art of Menswear, 2022) and the Museum of Contemporary Art at the University of São Paulo (Boccioni: Continuity in Space, 2018) and has held fellowships at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and the National Gallery, London. In addition to her curatorial work, she has been a lecturer at the University of Sussex and Kingston University. She studied History of Art with Italian at the University of Leeds, holds a PhD awarded by Kingston University and the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art under the AHRC’s Collaborative Doctoral Award scheme. Rosalind specializes in modern European art and has published widely in this field, particularly on Futurism and Vorticism and other aspects of the relationships between modern art in Italy and Britain. Her current research topics include modernist watercolours, the critic Frank Rutter, and Antonio Mancini’s visits to the British Isles.
