Shareed Mohammed

Shareed Mohammed is currently a PhD candidate in the Literatures in English programme at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, Trinidad and Tobago. His PhD thesis aims to demonstrate that Wilson Harris’s shamanistic quantum imagination results in the creation of a re-visionary and cross-cultural poetics. Presently, he is conducting research for the Curator of the National Museum and Art Gallery of Trinidad and Tobago. He is currently researching the theory and practice of new museology and its alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. His most recent E-publication entitled “The cry of Merlin: The self-confessional and self- judgemental lament for dismembered landscapes, riverscapes, skyscapes, and oceanscapes in the language of Wilson Harris’s fictional narratives” was presented at the More Just, More Sustainable Futures Artistic Research 2021 Online Symposium for PhD students (University of Plymouth, UK).
