Victoria Haddock is the Collections Officer at Brunel’s SS Great Britain in Bristol, as well as a freelance researcher and published writer. She has worked in the museum sector for over seven years and holds an MA in History of Design and Material Culture from the University of Brighton. Her research interests include female artists and collectors, photography, conservation, and dress history in art. Victoria is on the committee of the Association of Dress Historians and has spoken and presented on themes of dress history at several conferences and museum organisations. She has worked on a number of exhibitions and displays, including Stephen Jones Hats at The Royal Pavilion, Brighton, By Royal Appointment: Devon Lace makers at The Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter, and the annual costume exhibition at The National Trust’s Killerton House, Exeter.
