Vija Skangale

Vija Skangale is a Georgia-born and London-based interdisciplinary educator, curator, and researcher. She holds an MRes degree in Exhibition Studies from Central Saint Martins (UAL) and has worked at Chelsea College of Arts (UAL) before becoming a PhD candidate. Her research interest is rooted in the pre-and post-Soviet exhibition histories in Georgia. She led and participated in numerous projects, including the Kunsthalle Tbilisi, Tate Modern Late, Tate Exchange, London Georgian Film Festival, Biennial Foundation, Asia House Film Festival, and Asia House Bagri Foundation Literature Festival.

Her writing has appeared in MoMABiennial Foundation and the Calvert Journal.
