Art UK is accepting pitches for stories about drawings.
We are seeking editorial stories of between 1000 and 2000 words that focus on drawings in the Art UK database. We publish evergreen stories as well as those tied to exhibitions, book publications, and other news. We are especially interested in stories about artists who primarily worked in the medium of drawing, features that bring together different artists and drawings under a theme or period, and stories that explore the medium of drawing in other thematic or temporal ways.
This work is funded by the Bridget Riley Art Foundation and authors are paid £250 per piece. There is no deadline for pitches.
